  Welcome from the Principal

The members of Domremy College form a diverse educational community which was founded by the Presentation Sisters in 1911, in the tradition of Nano Nagle. So the College community is very excited about our Centenary Celebrations in 2011.
With over 99 years of successful education, Domremy College is proud of its high academic success in a well-disciplined and safe environment. Our vision, Let the Light shine true….. expresses our commitment to providing a high-quality education which challenges students to aim for personal excellence and to love learning. In this way their own “light” can grow and they can be prepared  to meet the demands and opportunities of life in a changing world.
In this website you will find information on the variety of opportunities in which Domremy students can be engaged. These opportunities, together with our deep sense of community, provide an environment where each student can experience success according to her interests.
As a Catholic school, we believe that a student's faith development should be integrated into her whole life and lived out every day. To support us in this endeavour, we are pleased to have our Parish Priests involved in the College's Sacramental Program and the liturgical life of the College.
By providing the students with opportunities and leadership skills through our Social Justice Program, we believe that as adults, they will be women of courage and integrity who, through their search for truth ("La Verite" being our school motto), can contribute to a better society.
Domremy College students will be women who can make a difference in our world.

Centenary Celebrations

What a wonderful day it was on Sunday for our Centenary Garden Party. It was a time to celebrate and renew old friendships. If you would like to order any of the merchandise on offer there is still time to do so. Or maybe you would like to see some of the photos taken on the day.
