Artist in Residence Workshop

Year 10 and Year 11 Visual Arts students engaged in a wonderful day of creativity with artist Mirra Whale last week. The workshop provided Visual Arts students with the opportunity to explore and experiment with technical drawing and watercolour painting. Mirra Whale has been the recipient and finalist of several art prizes including The Archibald Prize (finalist) Art Gallery of NSW 2018, 2016, 2015, and 2014. Her practice incorporates painting, drawing, and printmaking. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for Domremy students to meet an artist and learn about art practice in person.
