Archbishop honours Domremy student with Award for Student Excellence

The annual Archbishop’s Awards for Student Excellence ceremony was celebrated on 4 September via an online event. Year 12 students from Sydney Catholic secondary schools were acknowledged for contributions to their school and service beyond the school gates.

There are three nominations per school. The quality of the nominations from Domremy College were outstanding, with the winner of the award being Julia. We would like to congratulate our other nominees, Emma and Stefania.

Julia truly deserves this recognition as a student who has been committed to give witness, founded on faith in Jesus Christ, to work on social justice initiatives and the evangelising mission of the Church. She identifies and values the traditions and charisms of Presentation People and is a remarkable representative of our College and very deserving of this honour.
