2024 HSC Results are in – Congratulations to the Class of 2024

Congratulations to the Domremy College Class of 2024 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!
Domremy College placed among the top 150 schools in the state in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, placing 112th.
43 of our students made the NESA Distinguished Achievers List, scoring a Band 6/BandE4 for one or more subjects and, between them, there were 81 Distinguished Achievements. We had one Top Achiever, with Mireille Karam placing eighth in the state in Studies of Religion 1.
We had 31.11% of students achieve an ATAR above 85, together with eight HSC Showcase Nominations.
The Dux of the College was Alannah Grifith, who achieved an ATAR of 97.9.
Principal Antoinette McGahan congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic efforts.
“There was immense pride and joy at seeing the extraordinary achievements of the HSC Class of 2024,” she said.
“The cohort's dedication, collaboration with each other and partnerships with their teachers have been the foundation of this outstanding success. In addition, the success of the Class of 2024 is a culmination of strategic and purposeful efforts by our staff.
“We are particularly proud of the performance across Key Learning Areas, with over 90% of courses achieving results above State average. This consistent improvement in the top two bands underscores Domremy's commitment to academic excellence and holistic education.”
SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM
Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 HSC with 13 of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 150 high schools in NSW.
SCS recorded an impressive 2819 Distinguished Achievers, 42 Top Achievers and 45 All Rounders.
Notably, eight SCS students received HSC First in Course honours.
SCS students also completed 1,921 VET courses, and earned 280 HSC Showcase Nominations across the Creative and Performing Arts, and Technology and Applied Studies.
